Founded in 2008, we have co-ed programs for players from the age of 3 through 16, and many of our former players have gone on to play in Toronto's adult leagues as well as international competitions.
As a community-based, fully volunteer-led club, Toronto Chieftains is a registered not-for-profit organisation and incorporated with the Province of Ontario. The club is also a full member of Canada GAA, the Canadian national body of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Ireland’s largest sporting organisation and celebrated as one of the great amateur sporting associations in the world.
With over 200 children in our programs we have won medals in all codes and age grades at the North American Continental Youth Championships (CYCs), which are held annually in late July in the United States, as well as the Great Lakes youth tournaments in Cleveland, OH; Detroit, MI; and Toronto, ON. Registration for our 2026 Summer Camp is now open!
Our Winter Indoor Preseason Skills training has begun and runs until March, before we begin the Regular Indoor season March until May. After 8 weeks we move outdoors from May to July.
New players and club members are always welcome! No previous experience necessary. Drop us a line and say hi.
Programs made possible by assistance from the GAA Global Games Development Fund.
